He holds a Diploma, M.A.Sc., and Ph.D. from the University of Patras and has extensive international research experience in Greece and Spain. His work focuses on model-based deep learning, 2D/3D scene analysis, and distributed signal processing, with applications in robotics, precision agriculture, autonomous vehicles, and e-health. He has authored over 170 publications and participated in more than 25 European and national research projects, holding key coordination roles in several H2020 initiatives. He is also co-founder of AviSense.AI, a spin-off developing advanced perception technologies for vehicle safety. |
